Relative Strength vs. the Nasdaq Composite

As of the close last Friday, 11/10/2008

charts are courtesy of Metastock

Description: This Relative Strength vs. the Nasdaq Composite indicator compares the strength of the Phisix with the strength of the Nasdaq Composite. It is calculated by dividing the Phisix's value with the Nasdaq's value. The result of this division is a ratio, or relationship between the two indices. When the indicator is moving up, it shows that the Phisix is performing better than the Nasdaq. When the indicator is moving sideways, it shows that both indices are performing the same (i.e., rising and falling by the same percentages). When the indicator moves down, it shows that the Phisix is performing worse than the Nasdaq (i.e., not rising as fast or falling faster).
