Maurice
Cruz Maurice Cruz graduated BS Economics
at the Ateneo de Manila University in 1990. He is highly skilled
in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) applications for communication and
change. In fact, he is the founder and was a president of NLP
Philippines, Inc. from January 1997 to December 2000. He also conducted
the country’s first internationally recognized NLP Practitioner
certification program, accredited by NLP co-founders in United States.
In February 1992, he worked as an Investment Officer for Marc Faber (HK)
Ltd. While working for Mr. Faber, he learned his contrarian investment
approach. He also handled the administration of his Iconoclastic
International Fund. Along with his Father, he was a co-founder of IGC
Securities, Inc. He was also a Director, Treasurer and Head of Trading
& Research there from October 1993 to September 2000. Presently, he
is the Assistant Vice President for the Investment Advisory Group of the
First Metro Investment Corporation and is responsible for managing a
proprietary equities trading account of P1 Billion.
