Joey Roxas
Joey Roxas graduated in Economics from the Ateneo
University in 1983. After graduation, he worked for Otis
Elevators in its Electronic Data Processing department. He started to get interested in the stock market in 1986
right after the revolution, after his father encouraged him to do so. He
first worked in the industry in 1987 as a broker in R. Coyiuto
Securities. He worked there for eight years until the PSE announced that
all dormant seats would have to operate. Since their family has a
dormant seat, he was forced to operate this seat under Eagle equities in
1995. Their seat has been with his family since the days of his
grandfather. Today, Joey is often quoted in newspaper write-ups and is
frequently seen in TV interviews regarding the stock market.
